At 6-foot-4 and 260 pounds, North Mesquite High School product Grant Garner certainly possesses the size and strength to develop into a very solid division one offensive lineman. Garner's commitment takes a lot of the sting out of the previous defection of Jason Hannan and fills a definite need for a center prospect in this year's class.

Garner was a commitment to the Iowa State Cyclones but the departure of Head Coach Dan McCarney led him to rethink things.
