Both Kyle Whittingham and Andy Ludwig are holding their quarterback cards close to the vest, only giving a vague "hopefully by this weekend" timetable for the unveiling of the No.1 guy. But there is still plenty of other positions that are actually coming into focus, as the Utes have reached the 15-day countdown to UCLA.

Depth chart decisions

After a night of viewing scrimmage film, Whittingham and Co. have made up their minds on some key spots. On the offensive side of the ball, Mike Liti has broken away from the pack of running backs, and is now the primary backup to Darryl Poston. After rushing for 37 yards on six carries during Thursday's scrimmage, Whittingham was comfortable with earmarking time on Saturdays for the junior.
