Westlake Village (Calif.) defensive end Michael Ebbitt isn't scared to go far from home for college, and Texas is probably a better location for him than staying in California would be.

The 6-foot-5, 245-pound Ebbitt travelled to Texas A&M to take a visit and came away impressed.

Ebbitt has scholarship offers from Texas A&M, Miami, Arizona, Colorado, Arizona State, Oregon, Oregon State and Tennessee.
