A handful of UK seniors didn't participate in pro day, choosing to end their football careers without a shot at playing at the next level.
Offensive linemen Jake Lanefski and Stuart Hines did not participate. Hines was a three-year starter who was named third-team All-SEC by Phil Steele as a sophomore. He was also a team captain as a senior.
Defensive tackle Luke McDermott also did not participate in pro day. McDermott had been an undersized linemen for the Cats, specializing in rushing the passer as a senior. He was listed at 264 pounds entering the 2011 season.
