Delray Beach (Fla.) American Heritage claimed the Class 3A State Championship over Madison (Fla.) Madison County due to a great offensive effort by junior running back Greg Bryant. The 5-foot-11, 200-pound back rushed for 243 yards on 39 carries and scored all three of his team's offensive touchdowns in their 30-3 victory.
