Chaparral (Scottsdale, Ariz.) athlete Davonte Neal has already made one decision.

The 5-foot-10, 175-pound Neal will play only football. No more running track.

Neal ran a 10.6-second 100-meter dash and a 21.4-second 200-meter dash his junior year, but giving up his track cleats for football cleats was an easy choice.

"Football is what I really want to do," said Neal. "I've done track mainly for conditioning, but it isn't fun for me. Football is."

Now Neal has just two more big decisions to make: Which college he will play football, and what side of the ball he will play when he gets there. Neal could project at receiver or cornerback. ...
