During spring practice Ian Thomas had hoped to make a visit to Notre Dame. That idea has been shelved for now but the wide receiver from Reistertown, Md., still holds the Irish in high regard with a friend recently committing there and the coaching staff in steady contact. Thomas isn't near a decision but hopes to start trimming his list down in short order.
