Joshua Parris has never visited Virginia Tech, but based on what he has heard from coaches and learned about the school via the Internet, the Stone Mountain (Ga.) Stephenson junior tight end has put the Hokies on top.

"They're my leader," Parris told Rivals.com on Tuesday.

Then, he added, he's "close" to committing.
