James Ross is a 6-foot, 210-pound playmaking linebacker out of Orchard Lake (Mich.) St. Mary's. He had acquired verbal offers from seven Big Ten schools, as well as USC, Notre Dame and four others.


Nebraska also just tendered him a scholarship.
