Bakhtiari playing well despite inexperience
BOULDER, Colo. - Redshirt freshman David Bakhtiari admits that he did not expect to earn a starting job this season. The Buffaloes returned all five starters and brought back a total of nine offensive linemen that started multiple games in previous years. "I was a little surprised that I won the starting right tackle job but I knew I worked really hard and it just kind of happened," Bakhtiari said. Even though Bakhtiari is the only first-year starter on Colorado's offensive line, he has been the second best (statistically speaking) behind left tackle Nate Solder early on this season.
