BERKELEY-As well as freshman kicker Jed Barnett has come along this fall, snagging the backup spots at both placekicker and punter, there comes a time for every freshman when you've got to come down to earth. Fortunately for Barnett, that came at the end of practice today, with no conditioning on the line and no gameday pressure.

Both Barnett and starter Giorgio Tavecchio lined up for kicks of 32, 42 and 47 yards to finish off Friday morning's session.
