Madison Heights (Mich.) Madison athlete Valdez Showers has spent much of the past month on the road with stops in college towns like Gainesville, Tuscaloosa and South Bend. Now the 5-11, 180-pound Showers is facing some down time before he heads into his senior season.

One of the biggest events in Showers recruitment the last month was earning an offer from Florida following an appearance at their camp.
