Sooners Fighting their Way into Onyegbule's Mind
As Oklahoma continues to evaluate prospects one who recently caught the attention of the coaching staff is Arlington, Texas standout receiver Miles Onyegbule. Onyegbule who is listed at 6-foot-4 and 200-pounds pass-catcher showed up at Oklahoma's camp last summer and after a strong junior year proved he was worthy of a scholarship offer.
Just a few weeks after receiving his offer from the Sooners Onyegbule couldn't help but notice the presence of Sooner head man Bob Stoops.
And it now seems, as per usual, Oklahoma is locked into another Red River battle.
"The thing is last week I was big on Oklahoma and at that point I hadn't heard from Texas in a while and then they were on me and they were talking. I'm going to see how things go in Austin for their junior day on Feb. 13," Onyegbule said. "Oklahoma's junior day is Feb. 20, if I get past the Texas junior day and then I'm for sure going."
