When it was announced last Saturday that UCLA will be playing Temple, the EagleBank Bowl had Owl head coach Al Golden talk it over with the press. Golden has truly done one of the best coaching jobs in all of college football. Leading Temple to their first bowl berth in 30 years.

Golden: "I can't tell you how excited we are and I'll probably be excited right up to the time I turn on the film, but we're excited to play UCLA. Obviously we're the fourth largest media market and they (UCLA) have the second largest media market and we're meeting in the nation's capitol. I mean that sounds like a great matchup. I don't think you can design it any better than that. It is East and West so it is a tremendous opportunity for us, for both schools, for exposure for both schools, obviously to play in a nationally televised game."
